Jah People Music
JAH PEOPLE is a collection of individual personalities and talents rolled into one big musical spliff!
Core members Dean Rubenstein, Alesia Dessau, Noah Sokoloff, Andrew Walls, Mike Stankus, and Anthony Gentile have been sharing melodic messages of love, spirituality, and unity with audiences and communities since 2012.
In 2015, JAH PEOPLE released their first original album, RISING HIGH, which included an updated version of Marley’s “Exodus,” and guest appearances from Philly rap legend FREEWAY and reggae staple RAS PROFESSOR. Positive fan responses have led to coveted stages, such as The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Brooklyn Bowl in New York City, and The Hamilton in Washington, D.C.
In 2016, JAH PEOPLE received top honors in the world music category at Philadelphia’s music awards, PHL LIVE, which included a proclamation from The City of Philadelphia.
JAH PEOPLE is the official, exclusive band for the Philadelphia Eagles Family BBQ, held annually by owner, Jeffery Lurie, at The Novacare complex for the teams, players, and their families.
